Course of climbing the length of Shirane Sanzan of Akaishi Mountains in the Southern Alps

Course for climbing the length of Shirane Sanzan which generally means Kitadake (3,193m), Ainodake (3,190), and Noutoridake (3,026m) of Akaishi Mountains in the Southern Alps.

Narada

Visit by Hayakawa local bus from JR Minobu train station or by your own car. Parking is available.

45 minutes by bus
There are some certain sections applied to car restrictions. Buses dedicated to climbers are planning to be operated from the middles of June to the middle of November.

Kitadake

Kitadake is the main peak of the Southern Alps. The elevation of Kitadake is 3,193 m. This is the second highest mountain in Japan.

Ainodake

Ainodake rises the northern part of Hayakawa town. The elevation of Ainodake is 3,190 m. This is the third highest mountain in Japan.

Shed – Noutori Koya

The shed is located at the mountain ridge where the elevation is 2,800 m. You will be able to see a panoramic view of the beautiful sunrise and sunset view, the night sky with a lots of stars and the night view of Kofu Basin.
*If you want to go further than Noutori Koya, you can stay over at Daimonzawa Goya.
