Arakura Fault
This is the outcrop of Itoigawa-Shizuoka Tectonic Line. It is designated as a national natural treasure. You can see the boundary between east and west of the main island of Japan.

In Arakura area (go forward on another road to the side between Onojima tunnel and Akikawa tunnel)

Hayakawa Valley
The most beautiful scenic spot on the Prefectural Road Minami-Alps Park (Prefectural Road 37). It is recommended to visit in the seasons of beautiful fresh green leaves and autumn leaves.

You will be able to purchase honey made by Japanese honeybee if you are lucky enough (They may be sold out soon). Even though you are planning to stay at another place instead of our place, Yujima no Yu (hot spring), we welcome you to come and try our hot spring with one-day pass. Let’s explore some places such as Shiono-ike, Somemono-ike, Katahano-ashi, Shichidan, and Gohu-sui that come from relocation of Nara Houou (Empress Kouken).

Narada area in Hayakawa town: The total required time which takes to do this activity is about 90 minutes on foot.

ou can enjoy local mountain food such as hoto (a popular regional dish originating from Yamanashi that is stewing flat udon noodles and vegetables in miso soup), Japanese horse tripe hotpot, grilled river fish with salt, and stew that contains Konnyaku made from konjac, and so on.
