History of Hayakawa Town
The building was built as the Misato Village Hall in 1943 and has been used as the Hayakawa Hometown Museum since 1985.
It was certified the “registered tangible cultural property” as a representative government building architecture on April 25, 2014.
Daily necessities are mainly displayed at the first floor, and traditional everyday tools are at the second floor. They are classified by the use and the situations.
