The Hagoromo Shiraito Fall (Hagoromo Shiraito no Taki)

In front of the fall, there is a statue of “Oman-no-kata”, a concubine of Ieyasu TOKUGAWA, who ended the prohibition that women entered to Mt. Shichimen.
This fall is one of a pair and it is called “Me-daki” which means a smaller waterfall of two, and the other is called “O-daki”, a greater waterfall, is located behind.
The “Me-daki” is used for Taki-gyo (ascetic practice by sitting under a waterfall). If you are interested in participating it, please contact Masudaya Ryokan (Japanese Traditional Inn).
